ITD staff is thrilled to collaborate with ten 2020 Professional Fellows from Morocco through its Fall Virtual Program which began October 1. To bridge the gap between the cancelled spring 2020 program, and the virtual Fellowships to take place in February 2021, ITD is offering participants nine online modules, composed of asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities. Participants are able to engage with each other and develop their collegial spirit as they discuss U.S. democracy and social movements with guest speakers. In Zoom breakout rooms they have the opportunity to meet with their fellowship hosts, and PFP alumni to brainstorm their Action Plan projects. These preliminary sessions have highlighted the enthusiasm, intellect, and critical thinking skills that this year’s Professional Fellows possess.
